Research Assistant 01 (CONNECT: Collaborative Office Network for Navigating Empowerment, Creativity, and Transformation)

Are you passionate about driving innovation and making a meaningful impact? We’re looking for two enthusiastic students to join a multidisciplinary research project in collaboration with CSUN’s Autonomy
Research Center for STEAHM (ARCS) and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power
(LADWP).

In this transformative project, you’ll help reshape modern workplaces by integrating human-centered design, sustainability, and advanced technologies. Together, we will develop a scalable WorkHub model that promotes creativity, collaboration, and productivity in today’s evolving work environments.

  • Focus: Literature review, precedent studies, and qualitative data collection (field visits and observations).
  • Skills: Familiarity with qualitative research methods, analytical and writing abilities, and a background in design or environmental psychology.
  • Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth research, synthesize insights from literature, and support framework development through qualitative analysis.
